The roofs of new RVs are covered under the OEM’s product warranties. However, when a unit is sold the original roof warranty is voided and does not transfer to the new owner. With its Gold and Platinum service plans, RV Roof Protector offers protection to second owners against the financial burden associated with a roof replacement. Because of the high cost, other service contracts exclude roof membranes from their coverages.
